David Kellam
Commercial Director
David has 10 years' commercial experience in Systems & Network Administration, IT Management and Consulting. He holds Bachelor of Computer Science, Diploma of Arts(Linguistics) and Master of Business & IT degrees from The University of Melbourne. Prior to starting CoreMind, David provided IT Consulting, Development & Support services through Waterfront IT. David is passionate about the human side of computing and strives to ensure the systems we develop not only function adequately, but fit with the way people work. David is a Director of CoreMind.

Ben Anderson
Technical Director
Ben has over 15 years' of commercial experience covering the full gamut of IT Development, Support & Management. Ben was IT Manager at Ormond College, University of Melbourne before leaving to focus on CoreMind full time. Ben is particularly skilled at Linux server administration and network design and management. Ben has also been a freelance IT Consultant for more than 10 years. Ben is a Director of CoreMind.

Ian Heggie
Lead Developer
Ian is a master craftsman, capable of wielding programming languages with immense power. He is currently working on a number of RubyOnRails-based projects with us, but has experience in a variety of diverse languages, frameworks and methodologies. Ian is a stickler for quality and has a keen eye for business value. Ian has over 20 years' commercial experience.

Ben Slocombe
IT Systems Engineer & Support Specialist
Ben is in his final semester of Mechatronics at The University of Melbourne and working for CoreMind 3 days a week. Ben is passionate about Linux, and is constantly exploring new technologies and ways of doing things. He has experience supporting a wide range of equipment and software.

Mark Qvist
Developer & Support Specialist
Mark has joined us whilst in Australia away from his own consulting practice in Denmark. He is our resident Mac fanboy - if there's an important Apple product launch, don't expect him at work at 9am the next morning! Mark brings iPhone and iPad skills to our development team as well as RubyOnRails (our standard language/framework). He also helps out in support and systems, being the multi-talented guy that he is.

Axel Magnuson
IT Support
Another University of Melbourne recruit and an example of major college nepotism, Axel joins us with a willingness second to none. Axel helps us with a combination of PC Troubleshooting, Systems Setup, research & scripting/development to make our own and client systems tick.

N.B. Some of our staff work part-time (to varying degrees) to accommodate their continued further education and life goals. CoreMind believes in flexible employment and has systems in place not only to allow but to benefit from this structure. CoreMind's in-house support capability as of August 2010 is approximately 5 FTE staff. We always hire in excess of requirement in order to maintain our high selection, cultural and training standards.
